wine knowledge good recommendation cheerful disposition
james was great he had good wine knowledge. he took photos for us in the gold club lounge. he provided excellent recommendations about the city history from the lounge. jess, ham, ansel, and alan were good also.
the gym closed pretty early at 9pm and was extreme.

direct access spacious layout
the location was quite good, especially having direct access to shopping areas. also, the mrt station access made moving around straightforward. i booked a room with a marina bay view and the view was excellent. the room also had a spacious layout and that was appreciated.
the gym was somewhat busy during peak hours. it wasn't a major issue. though it made getting on equipment a bit difficult.

really good assistance helpful recommendation attentive service
james consistently provided really good assistance and possessed considerable knowledge. he explained various wines and cocktails. his recommendations for local activities were also helpful. i appreciated the attentive service in the gold lounge, especially from james and his team.
the early closure of the pool at 9pm felt very restrictive, though i understand this is probably for maintenance.

I found a large mall connected to the hotel. It offered convenient access to food and shopping. breakfast was amazing in the three buffet areas, asian market, prego and clove. the gold lounge offered cocktails with refills and delicious appetizers each evening.

acceptable location, some issues
lack of valet subpar cake
the location was convenient being above a mall providing easy access to various shops and restaurants.
the lack of valet service was inconvenient upon arrival i drove around trying to find assistance the room assigned to me didn't include a bathtub which was disappointing the birthday cake was also not great it tasted like something from a supermarket and lacked any personal touch like a note.

excellent stay with really good service
water view marina bay view walk-in shower evening turndown service
i wanted a water view and proximity to everything. friends suggested the stamford. i chose the beautiful marina bay 1 king balcony marina bay view for the walk-in shower. the room included a sensor that opened the curtains upon entry. evening turndown service placed slippers by the bed. the king-size bed was very comfortable.
the mini-fridge was automatic and filled with expensive drinks, so i could not keep my own items.

the staff greeted me with warmth and attentiveness, even asking about bringing eggs to my table. a little bowl of soya sauce was on my table the next day while i got my food. it was very thoughtful!!!

my room offered a view of marina bay and the marina sands hotel. i saw the light show at the gardens by the bay. the room amenities were well-stocked. i found the lumbar support of the bed to be very good.
